Program Overview

Training Pennsylvania’s Workforce. Strengthening Pennsylvania’s Economy.

WEDnetPA helps Pennsylvania companies grow by investing in what matters most: their people. Funded by the Department of Community & Economic Development, WEDnetPA provides financial support to help employers train new and existing employees—boosting productivity, improving skill levels, and keeping businesses competitive in a global economy.

A strong workforce drives a strong economy. Thriving companies provide family-sustaining jobs, pay taxes, attract new investment, and fuel community growth. That’s why Pennsylvania gives businesses a powerful edge through WEDnetPA’s flexible, easy-to-access training funds.

Flexible. Business-Driven. Results-Focused.

WEDnetPA is designed around the needs of employers. Eligible in-state businesses can apply for funding to support a wide range of workforce training. Companies define their own training needs and choose how, where, and by whom training is delivered: through WEDnetPA partners, third-party providers, or in-house teams—online, off-site, or onsite.

By building a smarter, more adaptable workforce, WEDnetPA gives Pennsylvania companies the tools to lead—and succeed—in a rapidly changing world.
